Local Employers, Nonprofits, Lenders Invited To Attend

MCLEAN, Va., Aug. 29 /PRNewswire/ — Freddie Mac, the Wisconsin REALTORS(R) Association, and the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority are working together to share and address solutions to workforce housing in Wisconsin. The symposium will be held on Thurs., Sept.13, 2007, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Fluno Center for Executive Education.

The symposium will showcase successful employment and quality of life initiatives designed to help employers enhance employee recruitment and retention. The participants will hear case studies on successful employer-assisted housing benefits along with updates and advances on Wisconsin’s workforce-housing statewide initiatives.

By engaging in a forum of ideas, innovations, and best practices, employers, lenders, and nonprofits will walk away with a better understanding of how to work together to offer practical workforce-housing benefits. The symposium is also a great networking opportunity because it will bring together organizations and businesses dedicated to affordable-housing solutions.

For more information or to register by September 5, please visit http://www.wheda.com/sf.asp. Wisconsin employers, lenders and nonprofits are invited to attend. The cost is $40 per person. Participants may pay at the door with a confirmed registration.
