Building Commission Approves Projects

Madison – June 20, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) – The State of Wisconsin Building Commission today approved several key projects across the state including, but not limited to:

· Maintenance and repair projects for Department of Corrections facilities in Milwaukee, Racine, Winnebago, and Waushara Counties;
· Facility improvements for Devil’s Lake State Park, Governor Thompson State Park, Harrington Beach State Park, Poynette Game Farm, and the Sandhill Wildlife Area;

“The approval of these projects today will help maintain and improve some of Wisconsin’s key state assets,” said Governor Scott Walker. “The members of the building commission voted to make prudent and efficient decisions regarding the use of taxpayer resources.”

The Building Commission is chaired by Governor Walker and made up of the following members:

· Vice Chair State Representative Dean Kaufert;
· State Senator Neal Kedzie;
· State Senator Terry Moulton;
· State Senator Fred Risser;
· State Representative Joan Ballweg;
· State Representative Gordon Hintz; and
· Citizen member Bob Brandherm.
