Governor Doyle Announces More Than $6.3 Million to Benefit Homeless Persons

MADISON, WI - July 21, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) -- Governor Jim Doyle today announced awards totaling $6,395,897 to 88 organizations across Wisconsin for emergency shelter, homeless prevention, transitional housing and supportive service programs. Wisconsin Department of Commerce Secretary Richard J. Leinenkugel presented the awards on behalf of the Governor at the Wisconsin Conference on Homelessness in Middleton.

Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced today that Wisconsin borrowers received $23.5 million in mortgage loan-related relief in the first quarter of 2013 under the National Mortgage Settlement.
