Draft master plan for nine DNR properties within Northern Kettle Moraine Region Wildlife, Fishery and Natural Area Planning Group available for review before August Natural Resources Board meeting
MADISON – July 31, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — The draft master plan for nine wildlife, fishery and natural area properties located within the Northern Kettle Moraine Region Wildlife, Fishery and Natural Area Planning Group will be presented to the Natural Resources Board for consideration and approval at its Aug. 12 meeting in Horicon, Wis.
The draft plan contains department recommendations for habitat and recreation goals and objectives for these nine properties, and reflects comments received attwo public meetings held in September 2014 and a public comment period open through October 2014.
Properties in the planning group include:

- Wildlife Areas – Theresa, Allenton, Jackson Marsh, Mullet Creek, Kiel Marsh and Nichols Creek;
- Fishery Areas – Onion River and LaBudde Creek; and
- State Natural Areas – Cedarburg Bog.
The draft master plan is available for public review during public hours at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources office in Plymouth, Wis. and the Natural Resources Building, located at 101 S. Webster St. in Madison.
