Governor Doyle Announces Compass Properties, LLC Commercial Property Upgrade

MADISON, WI – November 17, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — Governor Jim Doyle today announced that Compass Properties, LLC, Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, has received a $6 million Recovery Zone Facility Bond allocation from the Department of Commerce to renovate commercial property in the City of Milwaukee.

“I am pleased that we could help Compass Properties, LLC renovate its commercial property,” Governor Doyle said. “I signed Senate Bill 440 so that we could make full use of Recovery Zone Facility Bonds and support manufacturing projects like this across Wisconsin.”

Compass Properties, LLC is a real estate investment and management company with offices throughout Wisconsin. The company will renovate and make improvements to one of its properties in downtown Milwaukee. Renovations include electrical, mechanical and facade repairs. Total project cost is $20 million.
