Lee & Associates Principal Receives Certified Retail Property Executive Designation

MADISON, Wis. – January 28, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — Lee & Associates, one of the largest broker-owned commercial real estate firms in the country, has announced that Steve Doran, principal in the Madison, Wis. office, has been designated as a Certified Retail Property Executive (CRX), the highest designation given by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

The CRX title is a global mark of professional achievement in the retail sector of commercial real estate. Those awarded with the designation have mastered a comprehensive body of retail property knowledge, with specific expertise in a variety of areas, including asset management, development, finance, accounting, leasing, retailing and marketing.

An industry veteran, Doran co-founded the Madison office of Lee & Associates in 2006 and has since helped cultivate the largest commercial real estate broker house in the Madison area. He also serves on the National Retail Council for Lee & Associates.

In addition to his new title, Doran is also a member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (WREAA), a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and a Certified Senior Leasing Specialist (SCLS), another designation with the ICSC. He has also been voted to the top 40 under 40 Madison area professionals likely to prosper.
