Madison, WI – January 5, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Representative Mike Rohrkaste (R-Neenah) supports the Joint Committee on Finance’s (JFC) decision to release $350 million in contingency bonding to decrease delays to road projects throughout the state, including the Highway 10/441 project in the Fox Cities.
“The decision by the JFC to approve the release of funding for road projects is incredibly important to the Fox Cities area,” said Rep. Rohrkaste. “This funding will ensure that the proposed delay to the Highway 10/441 project is shortened and alleviates some of the negative economic impact of a longer construction period.
“Ever since the Department of Transportation (DOT) announced these delays, I have advocated for releasing the bonding for these road projects. It is essential that the Highway 10/441 project not be delayed two years, both for the local Fox Cities economy and for the safety of its citizens.”
