More Than 28,000 Homes Inspected for Disaster Damage
NEW BERLIN, WI - November 2, 2010 - (RealEstateRama) -- Since a presidential disaster declaration was issued Sept. 18, more than 30,000 residents of Grant and Milwaukee counties have applied for federal disaster aid, and nearly 28,500 of their homes already have been inspected, according to Wisconsin Emergency Management (WEM) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Workshops To Show How To Protect Homes From Future Flooding

Milwaukee County Disaster Recovery Center Transitions To SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center
NEW BERLIN,WI - October 13, 2010 - (RealEstateRama) -- The federal/state Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) at the Milwaukee Brotherhood of Firefighters Association, 7717 W. Good Hope Road, will transition to a Small Business Administration (SBA) Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) on Friday, Oct. 15 at 9 a.m. The center will operate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, until further notice.
